- The value(s) from WBM's monitoring system represent the "stress" that the machine has experienced. The value(s) are scaled roughly between 0 and 10 as determined by calibrating the stresses on each individual machine. The values can be used to determine an actual stress value, however a 0-10 scale lends itself to a more universally accepted value.
- This is a weighted value that de-emphasizes the time a machine is “out of service” and provide a single value to compare across multiple days. This gives you the ability to compare the "Damage Index" over several months of data with the "Damage Index" of a shorter duration. For example, if a query for three months yields a weighted damage index of 7.5 and a second query was performed for a single day and yielded a weighted damage index of 8.4, you can conclude that the machine experienced higher stresses during the single day.
